2024 Honda CR-V Engine Options Offered

The 2024 Honda CR-V is offered with either a turbocharged gas engine or hybrid powertrain. The gas engine is included with the LX, EX, and EX-L trims, providing 190 horsepower and a 1,500-pound towing capacity. Choose the CR-V hybrid powertrain — made up of a 2.0L Atkinson cycle inline four-cylinder (I4) engine, high-torque traction motor, and lithium-ion high-voltage battery — for enhanced fuel efficiency, including up to 43 MPG* in city driving.

Both models send their power through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Both are standard with two-wheel drive (2WD) and available with Real Time AWD™ (all-wheel drive). Gas models feature a three-mode drive system, including econ, normal, and snow modes, while hybrid models add sport mode to the equation.
